^ I love Jennifer Connolly's room in this movie. That Victorian era detail is amazing.

Chopping Mall (1986)

Cheezy horror movie about some teens who hide out and party in a mall overnight. Little do they know three haywire security robots are patrolling and using lethal force. I enjoyed it for the 80s scenery. Great light movie if you're nostalgia bone is humming. Basically, if you loved Citizen Kane, you'll hate this.

@vkimo: Chopping Mall! Such a hilariously awful '80s horror-cheese romp. Like you said, tons of '80s mall scenery. The only thing missing is a scene of Tiffany belting out a tune.

That would have made for a great finale. Tiffany getting her head lopped off by Short Circuit haha

Thelma and Louise (1991)

This is such an iconic movie. I've never saw it all the way through but wow, I loved it the entire way. Hard to believe the guy behind Alien did this movie. Geena Davis was such a babe! The ending was predictable but I had a great time with this one.

Mr Magic
A Few Good Men

Very interesting military courtroom drama. I bet when Jack Nicholson said "You can't handle the truth!, movie theater audiences just looked at the person sitting next to them and said "Oh, yeah. He's goin down."

And Lt. Kafee (Tom Cruise) has said some funny stuff.

Lt. Weinberg: Cmdr. Galloway, Lt. Kaffee is considered to be the best litigator in our office. He successfully plea bargained 44 cases in 9 months.

Kaffee: One more and I get a set of steak knives.

Christine (2016)

No, not THAT Christine. This one is based on the true story of Christine Chubbock, who holds the dubious distinction of being the first person to kill themselves on live television. This film was very well done, and really gave you a sense of her dealing with an inner turmoil over where her life was and was heading. All these people around her are trying the best they know how to be helpful, but there is just this wall that she will not take down. Thankfully there is no actual footage on the internet of her deed. The actual tape was thought to have been lost for all these years. But it turns out that someone high up in the television station's management kept it hidden, and his widow turned it over to a law firm for safe keeping after he died.

The Breakfast Club

After reading Lazlo's article I was tempted to watch this film for the umpteenth time. It's still every bit as good as ever. I can still feel all the same emotions that it made me feel as a kid and teen. I wish John Hughes could have given us an idea as to what would develop from the relationships that the characters formed in the film. I would like to know what he imagined would have transpired on Monday and beyond.

Rick Ace Rhodes
Superbad.

One of the best comedies from the late 2000's, a story of two nerdy high school Seniors who set out on a night of debauchery before they graduate high school.

The Cable Guy

A movie where Jim Carrey is at his craziest. He really made a mess of Matthew Broderick's life. Such a funny little film. Once you've seen it for the first time, you'll wanna see it again!
