Puppet Master II (1991)
|
I saw Rogue One tonight and I can pretty much concur with Vaporman's report.
It felt like a movie that's set in the Star Wars universe, as opposed to a Star Wars movie (if that makes sense). I loved all the little shoutouts to A New Hope, and as awesome as it was to see Tarkin again, I got some uncanny valley vibes from him. My only main nitpick was that Vader's voice (and costume) seemed a little "off". The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

Death Race 2000 (1975)

Elf
This movie's 13 years old and I just now saw it. I always thought Will Farrell was a dork, but he actually did a good job in this one. Quite a nice Christmas movie. I can see why it's so popular. 5 stars. "Magic can happen to you."

National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. It's my favorite Christmas movie.

Frosty Returns (1992)
Oh my. John Goodman singing and a poorly written script make for a real Christmas stinker. Santa cries when he thinks of this animated film. You love this signature.

Kickboxer: Vengeance
This movie has no redeemable qualities that I could see. Having enjoyed the original, this remake was a major letdown. 0/5 stars. www.retroramblings.com

Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge (1991)
7/10 This might be my favorite (or at least tied with the first) of the puppet master movies that i have watched so far. |

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
It's good, but what's with Jim Carrey's Sean Connery accent? 4 stars. "Magic can happen to you."
