I wonder if The Man From U.N.C.L.E will be any good.

Yes. It had a very limited showing. It was only up for a few days at a couple of theaters around here, and only one showing per day.

Watched The Taking of Deborah Logan on Netflix last night. Probably one of the better possession flicks I've seen. Had a really creepy ending.

Universal Soldier: The Return

I liked the original, so I had to see this one to see if it was just as good. Plus, Bill Goldberg was in it. Another reason to watch it.

It was an alright sequel. Not bad at all.

3 1/2 stars.

I finally sat down and watched The Lost Boys. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun and campy it was. It was a one-time watch for me, but not a bad way to spend an hour and a half.

You can now mark that off your list of shameful retro confessions. Well done.

I decided to watch the Fantastic Four movie. The 1994 version.

Wow. This was just awful. So bad, it's funny in parts. And apparently there is a documentary coming out that details the making of the movie, and how it was actually NEVER meant to see the light of day. It was only made to meet a contractual agreement with no intention of ever releasing it in any form. Isn't that crazy?

The commercial makes it look good. But I could say the same of the commercial for the new Fantastic Four movie. As for the old FF movie. I'm a fan of Roger Corman and his fast, no budget, no caring, hired gun, whatever it takes style. I recommend his "100 movies in Hollywood" book. He operates like a one man Troma Films.

Welcome MrTony (Tony here also). In a thread of any other name, I might be concerned to read what you've posted.

One has to wonder if he knew the film wasn't going to be released, or if he was in the dark and was upset.
