Any teenage boy who DIDN'T have a crush on Diane Lane (that knew about her/seen her) back in the day HAD to be one that preferred somebody named Dave instead of Diane.

Mr Magic
Death Wish 3

Charles Bronson, who is a one-man army, takes on thugs who tries to invade an NYC neighborhood.

A very nice addition to the Death Wish franchise.

4 1/2 stars.

As I mentioned in another forum post, I just saw The Gallows on saturday night. It was an alright movie, as it did have a couple of good scares that made you jump out of your seat (one that was really done for humorous reasons). However, the ending really sucked. It was confusing and really made no sense. It made it just another generic found footage film.

I'm a big fan of the death wish movies. I still have to watch the fifth one but the first four are really good especially the first.

Blue Ruin (2014)

8/10 Really great revenge thriller that is very suspensful. I liked the scene in the metal club, there was a guy in the background wearing a GWAR shirt (they are in my top 5 favorite bands). It was cool that buzz from home alone and jan brady were in this. Just a really good movie.

^ I still have to watch the final two Death Wish films. The third has been my favorite so far.

The first is my favorite but 2,3 and 4 are also favorites of mine. I still have to watch 5.

Saving Private Ryan

In terms of violence and drama, Saving Private Ryan gets raw. If you like Steven Spielberg films and don't mind watching a 4-hour one, then this one's for you. It was one of 1998's finest achievements. Truly Oscar-worthy.

Mr. Belvedere Goes to College.

A pre-Mister Ed Alan Young is in the movie. It was hard for me watching the character not portrayed by Christopher Hewett.

Murphy's Law

A good non-Death Wish film with Charles Bronson. Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands, and Bronson does just that. Very well, I might add.

3 1/2 stars.

Lock Up (1989)

9/10 Really great prison movie. I hated the dirtbag warden(Donald Sutherland), the guards(except for the two good ones played by John Amos and William Allen Young) and the warden's convict lackeys. And it's so good when Sylvester Stallone gets his revenge on them and makes the warden admit to everything. Great music score by bill conti. And i just miss movies like this. I don't get the same feeling from most newer movies that i get from stuff like this and from this time.
