Well after a number of days owning the Switch, I can say a few things with certainty. Breath of the Wild is a very well made game with a number of fun elements, though I wish they would start adding voice overs to the LoZ games. The ability for the console to go portable is a really neat "gimmick" for sure. Today while at my kids' Karate testing, I was able to play a game with my middle son using the Joycons just like I could at home. The multiplayer aspect makes the portability even better. However, beyond the portability there is little here to call "different". But if they can make some really great first and third party titles, this could be pretty successful.

many bugs have been found in breath of the wild that nintendo needs to get around to fixing, one in particular is when link uses a teleport area with a horse and a game freeze happens.

There is at least some voice-acting in Breath of the Wild. Though, that's mostly during the cutscenes, and a few other places. There is still a lot of reading in this game, so it's not nearly something you see in every part of the game. Still, just the fact that there is voice-acting in this game at all is a big deal to me as that is a first in the series.

I am enjoying the many different environmental interactions in the game. It feels like GTA meets Zelda

I'm sorry, but I am totally imagining a The Fly scenario where the teleporter merges both man and beast lol

Ha! That's funny. Too bad that switch is actually $500 bucks.

Somebody on ebay actually posted this Switch bundle for $30,000. It sounds like a joke listing going by the description.
