Caught a screening of Disney/Pixar's The Good Dinosaur last night. Thought it looked lacking in the previews. Aside from a few moments, it was not that great. I expect more from Pixar. This almost felt like a straight to video Pixar ripoff. The ones designed to trick you at the redbox. The character design was kind of lame, and the concept itself was pretty meh. Out of ten stars..maybe 4?

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II
6/10 Finally, the epic conclusion to the fastest selling series! Ready to see the war between the rebels and the district? Too bad, most of it happens off-screen. Ready to see the rebels take the capital? Too bad, it all happens off-screen. This movie feels more like watching deleted scenes from the first Mockingjay than its own film. Wait for it to show up on Netflix. |

King Cobra (1999)
7/10 A good monster movie about a huge snake that was created in a science lab on the loose killing people. The effects for the snake were very good because they were done by the chiodo brothers who also did the effects and costumes(and also directed/produced) for killer klowns from outer space and the trolls for ernest scared stupid. Also the main guy in the movie does a wrestling style dropkick to the snake. |

I want to see The Polar Express again. I really liked it the first time I saw it.

Gone With the Wind
Excellent, excellent film about the old south. I've seen this more than a dozen times.  Extremely long, but it truly is a fantastic film!10 stars! "The sun shines bright in the old Kentucky home..." - A lyric to My old Kentucky Home. "Magic can happen to you."
