First Blood and Rambo: First Blood Part 2
They aired both of these on AMC today. I remember back during my Freshman year of High School I would always try to catch these when they aired because I was really getting into action films at the time. 8/10 and 9/10 *Insert funny signature here*

Powder
An underappreciated classic! I felt it should've had more praise than it did. I guess there are those that don't see the film the way I do. 4 stars. "Magic can happen to you."

^ Yeah, Powder is another one I need to watch again. All I remember is the spoon scene in the cafeteria.
The Good Dinosaur This was a disappointment for me. Disney's Pixar films are getting a little cookie cutter with their plots. The parent death angle never fails to hit you in the gut but this one was stale. Maybe it was the cartoonish dinosaurs. The boy seemed irrelevant. His lack of speech despite being a HUMAN was puzzling and the fact he acted completely like a dog the whole time just turned me off to the film. Great visuals though as always. 2.5/5 Cocktails (1988) Never even knew about this movie till I found it as the background footage to Kokomo by the Beach Boys on Youtube. Fun 80s romp with Tom Cruise playing the only character he knew how, an arrogant cock sure wise guy. Features some of the most beautiful girls of the 80s (Elizabeth Shue/ Gina Gershon) and had some great bar scenes. Definitely worth a watch 3.5/5 |

Bloodsport
Also from 1988, Bloodsport. Truly an iconic action film, for me anyways. This ranks up there with Predator, Rambo and pretty much any late 80s early 90s action flick. The soundtrack is awesome, the lines are funny and who doesn't love the Mentos chase scene. The dubbed voice acting does throw the movie off a little but thankfully there's not much of it going on. OK USA! 4.5/5 |

I'm watching the 1973 Three Musketeers movie. I heard it was good.

Pontypool (2008)
8/10 This came recommended from a friend. Pontypool is a low-budget Canadian horror movie that pays tribute to the classic H.G. Wells War of the Worlds radio broadcast. Its premise is a virus that can be transmitted through language. This movie is not for everyone but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are some great performances and enough mysteries to warrant a rewatch. |

The Three Musketeers movie was pretty good. Good swordplay, but things just got too silly. Wasn't expecting that.
3 stars. "Magic can happen to you."
