I don't really trust Rotten Tomatoes. They're just trolls imo.

Blank Check
Decent Disney comedy. Not as lame as people might say. Give the film a break! What makes it so unique is how everyone was going crazy over Mr. Macintosh, who never really existed. 3 stars. "Magic can happen to you."

Walking Tall (1973)
8/10 I first saw the remake with the rock like 10 or 11 years ago and i like that but i haven't watched it in years. I didn't like the first 10 or 20 minutes and i almost didn't finish watching it but once this gets going it's really good. There were some moments that i didn't expect like when the woman in the bar shot at him and he shot her in the forehead and in the eye and then when his wife was shot in the back of the head in the car. I usually like movies like this about a guy against a corrupt group or town. |

Joe Don Baker was a favorite target of the MST3K crew, but he did have a couple decent roles... Walking Tall being one of them.

Demolition Man
The action really heats up. Excellent cop vs. suspect movie! I'm amazed at some of the actor choices in this movie, like Sandra Bullock and Rob Schneider. 5 stars. "Magic can happen to you."

Went to a preview screening of a film called Green Room the other night. It was...messed up. Not the most violent film I have ever seen, but the violence was so realistic that I had to cringe and look away. A perfect thriller. Hour and a half. Just the right length. Had my heart pounding many times. Upsetting, disturbing at times, but worth a watch. I dug it.

thecrow174 wrote :Always a fun watch. I enjoy the fighting scene in the museum and the virtual sex. The Backwoods (2006) My dad purchased a box of DVDs at a garage sale and this title looked interesting. Has Gary Oldman and the British guy from all those comedy films in it. They're hiking in the woods of rural Spain and come across a girl locked in a shed. The movie was far less gruesome than I envisioned. Great suspense. 3/5 |
