The Replacements (2000)
7/10 Good football comedy but it had some annoying moments and characters. |

Hook
I don't think it's intended to be a live-action sequel of Disney's Peter Pan, but it does have a good follow-up of when Petey was an adult. So many great things to see in this adventure classic. Spielberg and Williams can always deliver. 100 stars! "Magic can happen to you."

The Trigger Effect (1996)
7/10 Good movie but could have been better. |

Batman v Superman (2016)
Everything you've read about this movie is true. Even so, it was still okay. I was entertained. I hate Ben Affleck though. He sucks. 3/5 You love this signature.

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
I think this movie is hit or miss with people, either you love it or hate it. I love it, the movie came out when I was in highschool and even though it seems to be set in the mid 90s, I really connect with the goofy antics. That town looks like purgatory though. Fun movie, always quotable and I think one Hollywood will never redo. 4/5 |

Back Roads (1981)
Found out about this while approving some videos for the site. Looked like one of those movies that came and went, totally forgotten. A fun romp that was nothing special but entertaining none the less. Sally Field was smoking when she was young, but she always seemed to have an overly motherly face to me. I love road trip type movies so this was worth a watch. 3/5 |

vkimo wrote :So true. I love this movie as well, though I always placed it in the late 80's early 90's time period for some reason. Maybe it was the moon boots. If you think that town is purgatory, you should come visit me some time. vkimo wrote :Agreed. I just can't think of her any other way than motherly. You love this signature.

Vaporman87 wrote : I always look at the cars to tell. Uncle Rico's van is definitely early 80s but Kip is using a computer. Rex Kwan Do drives an 70s or 80s Volkswagen truck. On the other hand the Backstreet Boys song in the finale is 1999, yet the school dance music and ending are 80s songs. Feels like half of the people are living in 82 and the other half 2002 |

Feels like half of the people are living in 82 and the other half 2002 I see what you mean. I'm sure the intent was to keep things purposefully vague in terms of the time period in order to appeal to as many people as possible, while still drawing on nostalgia to connect with people. All I know is that all this talk of Napoleon Dynamite has me hungry for tater tots for some reason.-end quote You love this signature.
