Kroger's was offering FREE small pieces of pumpkin pie today, for some promotion called Pumpkin Pie In July! Naturally, I couldn't resist. I considered it my "cheat" for the day.
(Except I also had a small piece of cake at my nephew's birthday party - shhhh, don't tell my body) You love this signature.

Vaporman87 wrote : Yes, I noticed that same promo in Seattle too. Up here Kroger's goes by the name QFC (Quality Foods Center), and local Safeway's are also cranking out the pumpkin pies like its Thanksgiving or something. I remember how my grandma treated pumpkin pie just like Jello, as a salad. Go figure! |

@edd: Ewww... pumpkin salad???
But yeah, this pumpkin in July stuff seems to be a new fad. I love pumpkin pie, but it just feels wrong to eat it so far from Autumn. You love this signature.

LOL, it does sound awful but imagine how cool it was to a kid and have dinner at grandma's with a slice of pumpkin pie served on the plate with the rest of the meal.

I find it both funny and uplifting that all of my pants are now baggy around the waist. I wasn't that large in the middle (though genetics doomed me to have some spare tire there), but apparently there was some weight there just waiting to fall off on this diet of mine. Sweet.

So the good news is I found out what is causing my limp and bad ankles. The bad news is one of my legs is an inch shorter than the other.
