You are a better man than I. There's no way I could go a month without soda. I usually drink 3 diet ones per day. I've tried quitting in the past and the headaches were awful. Also, I love caffeine.

@shakin: Pretty good. I would be lying if I said I felt some big difference, because I don't. But one thing I have noticed is that my appetite has increased. I can eat more now without feeling full. As long as I'm eating better stuff, that shouldn't be an issue.

@Derk: I felt the same way. It was pretty much a hopeless cause as far as ever quitting soda for me, after a lifetime of enjoying it. Then came the blood pressure scare, which got the "quitting" started. After that turned out to be a non-issue, I decided not to turn back... and somehow managed to stick with it this time. If I can do it, anybody can.

While I have still managed to stay away from any soda, my walking routine has been severely hampered since we went on vacation and started getting the new bedroom worked on.

I seriously need to get back on that kick. I think the nice weather will be helpful for doing physical stuff too.

Yeah, going for a walk in the springtime is awesome.

I've been on and off Soda recently. I only drink a half can a day if I can help it. Walking however has been a bit.... Off. I can't exactly take long walks without my ankle causing me issues.

Did something happen to your ankle or is it just wonky? My shins used to hurt after doing a lot of walking so I got insoles and they help a lot.

My family has a history of bad ankles. I have insoles and an ankle brace. But even those do little.

That's unfortunate. Maybe you can do deskercise or other low-impact things.

I have been fasting intermittently for many years. I just found out that it's "a thing" and can be turned to healthy advantage. I'm going to start being more conscious of it and use it well, since I already know it works for me.

I can't really fast due to my blood sugar. But I tend to eat peanut butter and go for a while off of that.

Oh, the fasting was just a general discussion point, not for you specifically. It...well, some bodybuilders do it. But I wasn't mentioning it as relating to exercise.
