I've just started doing the Just Dance workout. Since it's getting warmer in the mornings I have to improvise my workouts.

I got some of my blood work results from last week today. Good news: turns out my hemoglobin a1c test (the test for diabetes) showed I'm in a normal range. So I'm not diabetic or even pre-diabetic as I feared I might be.
Bad news is that that was the only test they completed. Turns out there was some kind of "lab error" and the rest of the tests needed to be done didn't get completed. So I have to go back to have more blood drawn to complete the needed tests. *Insert funny signature here*

That's still great news, Rick!
I'm still struggling with my protein intake so I started making my own shakes. I take a few tablespoons of greek yogurt, two scoops of chocolate protein powder, a few generous tablespoons of peanut butter (the kind you have to stir), and a chopped banana. I throw all that into a blender and let it rip until it's nice and smooth. I've yet to see if it's effective or not, but if nothing else, it tastes pretty good. The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

Yeah, I switched to diet energy drinks. I know they're terrible but I really enjoy the pick me up. I also got my bike tuned up and rode it to work today, it was a very peaceful experience riding to work. In a car I feel like another cog in the rat race but something about being on a bike makes you feel more free.

vkimo wrote :That does sound nice. Maybe I should start doing that. My office is less than a mile away. Only problem would be that when I want to leave to go into Pomeroy and run errands, I'll need an actual vehicle. You love this signature.

I'd just leave your truck at the office one day, walk home or get a ride then use your bike the next morning. That way your truck is there just in case. Although a mile would be about 5 minutes on a bike haha

I ride my bike as much as possible. It's great, I agree vkimo it really makes me feel free. Vaporman I don't know what kind of errands you're talking, but I have a rear rack on my bike. I used some super-heavy duty zip ties to attach an extra-wide milk crate on it. I can carry a lot of groceries in it. I also have a front rack, no milk crate on it currently but I could for even more capacity. How far is it to Pomeroy? |
