At King's Island, I never leave the park without getting a cone full of the "blue" ice cream.

Many years ago, the dark ride now known as "Boo Blasters" or "Phantom Theater" was once a dark boat ride with The Smurfs in it. When you exited the ride, you were greeted by the stand that sold "Smurf" ice cream.

Well, the ride quit being a Smurfs ride many years ago, but King's Island kept the "blue" ice cream. Now, it's a kind of trademark offering there. A "food mascot" if you will. And I love it.

The most happening ice cream stand in the park... "blue" ice cream for all!

I can taste it now just looking at it.

After King's Island opened "The Banshee" this year, they also introduced a themed variant of the ice cream to tie in with the ride.

Well, as far as taste, it's hard to pinpoint. It's delicious, with a hint of blueberry in there (speaking about the blue only cone), and some vanilla. But there something is else about it. At any rate, it could eat one every day if my body was invincible.

When I looked at the picture I got the impression of extreme blue berry flavor, maybe like a blue now&later or blue Laughy Taffy, very sweet but with a sour bite to it.

I bought a bucket of coconut ice cream last weekend, omg I forgot how good coconut ice cream tastes! We made some a while ago, we used coconut milk, heavy cream, vanilla abstract, sugar, I think some salt, and this...

You have to shake it for at least 15 minutes to make good solid ice cream.

There's a TV invention called Ice Cream Magic. So easy, a child could do it.

That's what we have, the Ice Cream Magic, the lady is holding one in the picture. You need to shake it way more than what the instructions say.
