it's been raining on and off today, but on a good note i got a good amount of chores done today.

ocarina of time released in the wii u eshop today, so i posted this in the community for laughs.

Tomorrow it'll be up early to get to the church for a close seat for the parade, then over to Fireman's Park for food and games. Then a visit with some friends as well. Should be good as usual.

Man, that sounds just right. That's what I miss most about small towns, you never feel alone and you don't need a world class fireworks show or thousands of people around you to have a good time.

It does get a bit crowded though. Not thousands of people crowded, but crowded for such a small place. And I have a feeling it's also going to be a giant, muddy, mess.

But there will be SOME fireworks, right?

Too many things to do today. First we're headed to a street fair. This one is put on by a local coffee company. There will be some free food and drinks but what cinched it was a friend's new band is one of the acts playing and we haven't seen them yet. Then we are invited to two barbecues. Hard to do both unless we just come to say hi and bye, and I hate that. So we might hit up one, but our main deal for the night will be going up on our own roof to watch fireworks go up in all directions.

no firework watching for me this year, i'll actually be doing some more job hunting. my mom referred a children's hospital of the king's daughters thrift store that has a super nice manager, as far as saving my money goes towards a new laptop i'll have to save up way slower than i thought if i get the job. here's hoping that i at least get it before the year's over...
