One of the least favorite things about these "vacations" is that I'm at least 7 years older than the next person down in our family (wife), have scoliosis (albeit mild) and have been to Disney World at least 25 times in my life, yet nobody can understand why waking up at 7 to spend 12+ hours on my feet here doesn't make me brim over with happiness at all times. LOL

Buy one of those big Goofy hats with the teeth on the brim and rent a Segway to follow them around in. That should prevent any future plans that involve you.

Let me guess... Broniecon.

Nope. Metrocon which is an anime convention. I probably won't go to a brony con cause I'm not a fan of cons that are for one specific show.

I've been holding on to my vacation days for dear life. We plan on going to NYC in July for a week, and I would like to take from Christmas to New Years this year.

We ate in this restaurant on Tuesday in Disney's Hollywood Studios and it is quite possibly the coolest theme for a restaurant ever created. Done with the quality and attention to detail that only Disney can create. It really was like eating at a drive in theater, without the carbon monoxide.

Unlike in this photo, the actual place is much darker (to simulate an evening at the drive in), and features a "refreshment stand" behind the "vehicles" from which waitresses bring your food. It's... perfect.

While there, we were treated to several previews of old sci-fi B movies like Plan 9 From Outer Space, as well as the occasional Disney promo, and some cartoons like Tom & Jerry. Also present were many "Go get snacks" promos from the 50's.

That reminds me of the Pirates of the Caribbean Blue Bayou restaurant in Disneyland. The ceiling is pitch black with little glowing stars so it appears you're outside and you can watch people riding on the PotC ride.

Today is Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios and it's packed with nerds. Lots of Star Wars stuff happening. Some cool swag too. I'll post pics from the resort this evening.
