Even this movie's campiness is campy. I realize it was meant to be off-the-wall and silly to begin with, but even this film's attempts to achieve that are now so dated that it's hard to enjoy. Still, there is a charm that keeps you watching 'til the end. 2/5 You love this signature.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
A well-done link between Halloween and Christmas. Love the songs and animation. Danny Elfman (Singing voice of Jack Skellington) is as good a singer as he is a composer. 5 stars. "Magic can happen to you."

Pixels (2015)
Far more bearable than some other recent Adam Sandler movies. At least this one manages to NOT veer off into complete disorder and nonsense. I actually enjoyed it for the most part, and definitely enjoyed the novelty of the classic arcade antagonists. 3/5 You love this signature.

Sudden Death (1995)
8/10 Very good movie. Like die hard but in an arena during a hockey game. Great fight scene in a kitchen with a person in a mascot costume. The two kids were kind of annoying though. |
