Liar Liar
The pressure for Jim Carrey to not lie is hilarious. Truly a comedy treat of a film. It just never gets old, no matter how old it is. 4 1/2 stars. I heard the reason isn't Carrey is hardly doing films anymore is because of depression. I hope he snaps out of it. "Magic can happen to you."

RetroDaze Halloween Special 2015
Yes, that's right. My family and I tested out the Special in the Theater last night, to make sure there were no hiccups or glitches. I give this one 5/5 stars. Clearly the person who put this together is passionate about this. Either that or the person wasted way too much time putting this together when he or she could have been answering phone calls or handling other business related tasks while at work. You love this signature.

The Shining
Beyond surreal. Most messed-up hotel I've ever seen. Jack Nicholson is one of the better actors in my book. Where does Stephen King come up with this stuff? 4 1/2 stars. I'm watching 1408, which is also based on a work by King and similar to The Shining, except it just revolves around a hotel room. "Magic can happen to you."

Just got back from Goosebumps. My breakdown
Don't expect a lot of the beginning. After it hits the fan that is when it starts to pick up and become a good solid movie. I expect it to become a new Halloween classic. I certainly consider it one. Jack Black did great in this movie. |
