The Postman (1997)
I must be the only one who enjoyed either of Kevin Kostner's post Apocalypse films. I thought Water World was great, and the Postman while not as good, still a fun movie. The Tom Petty cameo was pretty funny too. I plan on reading the book this was based off of.

vkimo wrote :No! You are NOT the only one... though I had been thinking I was! I especially liked The Postman. Will Patton gets under your skin so well, you just can't wait to see him eat dirt. That's a true testament to a good villain. I also enjoyed Water World, though not as much. You love this signature.

Tombstone (1993)
I remember seeing it on this thread a few weeks back and decided to watch it again after years of not seeing it. I was probably a preteen last I saw this. Such a bada$$ movie. The Earp brothers looked slick and I loved their bravado....with the exception of Bill Paxton, he just always comes off as a goon to me. Val Kilmer aced it as Doc Holliday, "I'm your Huckleberry" is timeless. Awesome movie, one of the last great western flicks. 4/5 |

Mr Holland's Opus
Good music movie that takes place from the 60s to the 90s. Not bad at all. 5 stars! "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."
