| 10611 | Godzilla | Haha that sounds like fun, but isn't Godzilla like 20 times larger than King Kong?<br><br>I just watched the movie and thought it stunk...<br><br>The smoke and mirrors fight scene left me squinting for another 15 minutes after the movie ended. For me it was no different than a Transformers movie. Lots and lots of military stock footage followed by some brief mayhem. I feel like the director gave Aaron Taylor Johnson a pineapple, told him to keister it and that was his character motivation. The movie had a lot of build up which would support the sequel franchise. <br><br>All in all it makes me appreciate the awesomeness that Pacific Rim is. PR doesn't take it self too seriously and thus delivers. Godzilla tried to infuse 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and giant monsters and it just didn't work for me. <br><br>I am curious though to what part Hoodie and Echidna were alluding to, care to divulge guys?<br> | vkimo | Aug 23, 2014 |  |
