Hope the little fella is on the mend, and that it is nothing serious.

I was riding home from work yesterday when I saw this cell phone in the gutter. I picked it up and the screen was shattered. I put it in my pocket to take home and track down the owner. I hadn't gone two blocks when it rang. It was the guy's wife. We talked. About a half hour later, the guy came by my house. Thankfully she was able to get a hold of him. He worked in the area yesterday, but they do not live close. He gave me $20! I tried to refuse it but he insisted. I guess that pays back the $20 I lost on my last good deed, heh.

And here I thought you were going to say you took it to the nearest ECO ATM and got a pocket full of money.

I unknowingly dropped my phone at the Home Depot parking lot last Wednesday. We were in the truck when I wanted to show my friend a cute picture of Taylor Swift (Forgive me) and noticed my phone was missing. We called the number and a man picked up speaking Spanish, thank goodness my buddy is Mexican and was able to have the guy leave the phone at the food stand outside of home depot. We had to drive back, so I treated my friend to a bacon and egg croissant.

That is why I have a pin code on my phone. It is a pain to punch it in every time I want to use it, but I was super glad it was on when I lost it to prevent any identity theft. I can remotely lock and swipe it, and if you enter the pin wrong more than 4 times the phone times out and actually takes a picture of the user and emails it to me.

EDIT: My post count is 1234, awesome.

that was nice of him to give you the money, and it was nice of you to actually try to find the owner.  most people would have either sold it for some quick cash or just left it there.

My coworker (And childhood friend) met up with a mutual buddy of ours we haven't seen in 10 years. We also ate at Merlins Magical Kingdom which is a Round Table Pizza. This place blew my mind, it's straight from the glory days of dine in Pizza. Oak trim and furniture everywhere, rugs so old you can't tell if the pattern is dirt or not and a little 4 game arcade in the back with ball pit. I wish I could have taken some pictures.
