Well, thus far I've found NO mice in any of the traps, and haven't heard anything up there in a few days. Hopefully that's over.
Last night my oldest boy was sick again. Coughing and high fever. Poor guy. I hate it when they cough so much they vomit. That's a sucky feeling when you're a kid.

I'm glad the mice situation is under control anyway.

Vaporman87 wrote :Yeah. I spoke too soon. Delivered some food home earlier and heard my wife yelling for me to come into the family room. The hole that had been created by a mouse was now leaking water. I went back up into the attic to see what the heck was happening. I noticed that a mouse had indeed been trapped this time. That was the good thing. The bad thing was that directly above the hole made by the mouse, there was a leaking spot in our roof that was dripping. So now I have to figure out how to make the leaking stop in the cheapest way possible. Home ownership is hard. You love this signature.

I saw some of the National Championship game last night.
Oregon just can't seem to win the big game. Congrats to Ohio State. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Vaporman87 wrote :Yep. Let me guess, you have a pitched roof with shingles? |

Indeed. I went up on the roof and measured where the leak was. It is a spot that is missing a shingle (likely blown off in high winds). I covered that spot with 3 mil plastic and left the hammer up there to keep it from blowing up.

How is your oldest son doing, Vapor?

He had a bit of a rough night sleeping last night. Not so much with coughing, but I think just generally not feeling well. He kicked, talked in his sleep, and rolled around pretty much all night. I'm thinking tonight I might give him some melatonin to perhaps help him rest a bit easier.
Thanks for asking crow. Send up a prayer if you get the chance. EDIT: Also, I got to play that Pro Wrestling NES game last night on my RetroDuo portable, and the funny thing is that my daughter loves the game. You love this signature.

I have a friend...well, I'm friends with his parents mainly but I can hang out with him. He's ten. And I don't know if he sees any difference between old games and new ones but he likes them just as much. He has a Wii U, an Xbox 360, and a NES. The other day he put on Zelda 1 and I was helping him find stuff. Anyway I think a lot of kids are like that if they haven't been fettered by industry talk. Minecraft is huge with the kids, they don't care about graphics. |
