I think that with time a growing number of people have come to appreciate Season of the Witch for what it is. In fact, I just read this piece by Mad Matt at DinoDrac that discusses the novelization of the movie, but also gives the movie some credit for trying to go a different direction. It just didn't work out.

I appreciate a little for what it is the more I watch. In fact, the scene with the commercial jingle had me hooked for a while.

When combining Halloween and nostalgia goes too far...

It could've been worse. He could've gone as Liberace. now THAT'S scary.

OH yeah, in the horror community, Part 3 has become a cult classic in its own right.

There is a lot of tasty and fun Halloween related foodstuffs out there in this day and age, but for those of us who have to adhere to some kind of diet, we're pretty much left out in the cold, dark, stormy night. So when I happened upon some BelVita biscuits in Pumpkin Spice flavor, I had to buy them.



I already snack on BelVita breakfast biscuits in chocolate flavor, so to have something that is already a part of my daily snacking come in this new Fall/Halloween inspired flavor was a pleasant surprise. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavor itself, which was not too overpowering. Thanks Nabisco!

Yes, it's basically just chocolate chip Z Bars in fancy Halloween packaging. Still, we who are on diets don't get to enjoy even that very often.
