When I found a bunch of Fruit Brute on sale at the store I stockpiled it. It's a shame they didn't bring it back.

Same here.  I stocked up that first year back and had monster cereals clear through the summer.  I finally finished them off in time for the new wave.  :-p

More signs of Halloween showing up. Here is a giant tent that Spirit is putting up in the parking lot of one of the malls we travel to sometimes:

And here we see Toys 'R Us getting a few things out early:

Now we're talking. Kroger has their Halloween products aisle filled, and are working on setting up the middle section which usually has some type of set up all decorated with ghoulish delights. Maybe that'll be up on my next visit.

Is it weird that the fact that your shopping cart has an ad on it is nostalgic to me?  I haven't seem a cart like that in ages, but I remember being a little kid riding on the front of the cart or in it and always looking at those ads.

Mr Magic
What sort of Toy Story Halloween special does Pixar have planned next?

Maybe they won't do Toy Story. Maybe they'll go with Nemo or Incredibles or something like that.

A Bug's Life?

Bugs can be scary.

Wasps, horseflies, fireants...

More signs of the season...

Those two images are courtesy of Lowes. Very cool inflatables, with the pumpkin headed sorcerer thingy having a fiery glow, and the giant dragon with wings that actually flapped.

Yes, the Monster Cereals are out on shelves as we speak, and after checking out the Blippar functionality you can use with these boxes, I have to say they are very cool. Using the Blippar app on your phone, you can bring the front and back of the boxes to 3D life! Especially cool is the back of the box, which gives you access to old commercials and old box backs. So sweet!

Also, the man in the upper left corner is apparently very angry with one or more of the 2 liters sitting up on the shelves in that aisle.

Ajimbo posted about this in the "Last Thing you Bought" thread, but I thought it should be in here also:
