3404ArticleHoju KoolanderOn a business trip 10 years ago I had the good fortune to wander through these very Chinatown streets of San Francisco and it was every bit as odd as you made it sound. Sadly I did not get caught in a battle between 2 supernatural Chinese gangs as John Carpenter led me to believe I would.China TownFeb 28, 2016View
3403ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 Yeah, Hogan is to wrestling what Jordan is to basketball. @massreality Gretzky didn't do much beyond host Saturay Night Live and appear in ProStars. Plus he is the only one I did see play for the Kings when I was 7 or 8. @Rick Ace Rhodes Thanks for filling me in. Also I kept finding pictures of his mangled finger online. What was that about? The Non-Sports Fan's Guide to Iconic Athletes of the 90'sFeb 28, 2016View
3402ArticleRick Ace RhodesA guide to the controversy of Jose Canseco: 1) He was the founding father of the steroid era. 2) He then ratted everyone out about the steroid era to get back at baseball for blackballing him. 3) He has a bad habit of doing really stupid things, and is generally considered a complete psychopath. The Non-Sports Fan's Guide to Iconic Athletes of the 90'sFeb 28, 2016View

3400ArticleThatDudeintheHoodieThanks :) I enjoy doing these types of articles, though it takes a lot more inspiration to do. 3398ArticlemassrealityGreat list, but you totally skipped over Wayne Gretzky and Magic Johnson! Although, one might argue that Magic was a bigger deal in the 80s.The Non-Sports Fan's Guide to Iconic Athletes of the 90'sFeb 28, 2016View
3397ArticlemassrealityMan, I totally forgot about cross sections! I loved browsing through them. I was also a big fan of the Choose Your Own Adventure. I'd usually get irritated and quit when things didn't got the way I wanted them to. The Library Feb 28, 2016View
3396ArticlemassrealityI find it interesting how much better weekends seemed when we were kids. Things were simple and expectations were so low. I really miss that. Great article!Memories of a Perfect WeekendFeb 28, 2016View
3395ArticlemassrealityWow. Great first article. Welcome to Retro Daze! I'm totally jealous. That store sounds like it was amazing! I spent alot of time in sports card stores and comic shops as a kid, so I know the thrill of finding a magical place that just gets you. Sadly, nowadays there arent many places that you can goto in person and feel that way. Luckily places like Retro Daze exist for the social aspect and eBay for the material part.Blast to the Past!Feb 28, 2016View
