3434ArticlemickyarberI think part of the contract dispute when Bo and Luke left the show was partly due to their cut of merchandising. I think they're new contracts stipulated they got an increase in their cut. Random Dukes of Hazzard MerchandiseMar 11, 2016View
3433ArticleVaporman87I think the sheer amount of General Lee merchandise that was produced over the years definitely helps you get a better perspective on the marketing behemoth that was the Dukes. The show was huge. I wonder if any of the stars got a cut of the profits from the sale of all that licensed stuff?Random Dukes of Hazzard MerchandiseMar 11, 2016View
3432ArticlemassrealityThat's some great stuff. I love The Dukes of Hazzard and have visited Cooters in both Nashville and in Gatlinburg. They got a lot of what you talked about on display along with a lot more. Its one of those shows you don't think about when it comes to merchandising, but they made a ton of stuff for it!Random Dukes of Hazzard MerchandiseMar 11, 2016View
3431ArticlemickyarberThis is such a great article my friend. Stuff like this is always tough to write, but I think it's necessary sometimes to get a taste of the bad memories to go along with all the good ones we all share here. I experience a fair share of bullying in school, and as a parent of school children, those memories stay near the front of my mind. I've told my daughters numerous times to not let themselves be bullied. I don't think any kid should go through what you described here. I've told them to go to their teacher when and if this happens. If they don't fix the problem, and it persists, I've taught them how to take matters into their own hands. Really good article though, one of my favorites I've read here.Being BulliedMar 11, 2016View

3426ArticleHoju KoolanderAll great mentions of additional wrestler appearances on TV. I think there were also quite a few cameos on an 80s wrestling based sitcom called "Learning the Ropes" starring former pro football player, Lyle Alzedo, forgot to mention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeqBYt5aEA5 Pro Wrestlers In Prime TimeMar 07, 2016View
3425ArticleHoju Koolander@mickyarber, Thanks for listening. I think we may just take you up on that offer, especially with Vaporman's suggestion for G.I. Joe. I think we are due to come up with a 3rd film in that series. We'll be in touch for that Bonus episode.Lost Sequels of the 80sMar 07, 2016View
