I haven't been around to post a lot today. Been working on pulling together the "War of the Robots" viewing (editing, intermission video, riffs, etc.)

But I think our first viewing will happen next week at 9:30 PM EST on Thursday, April 11th. And then an encore viewing on that Saturday night at 9:30 PM EST.

Does this seem reasonable to everyone?

Sounds good to me...I just hpe I'll be able to catch tonight's screening. My brother might want to use the computer tonights for a few hours after he's back from his volunteer work.

Actually Caps, that's NEXT Thursday, not this Thursday. So you have some time to schedule it in.

There have been some problems with the Theater that we are trying to figure out.

So, we may have to postpone the first viewing. But, that is not a certainty.

What happens over the next two days will determine whether or not it is necessary. Here's hoping these technical issues get ironed out.

THEATER STATUS UPDATE: Today's experimenting by me have proven fruitful!!!

The main issue was trying to figure out why you, the viewer, could not see any .flv files being played, even though I, the Admin, could.

It appears that this has been resolved.

However, at this point in time, all folks wishing to view the movie must be in the theater PRIOR to it's start. Exiting the theater and then entering again later, or entering AFTER the movie has already started, currently causes it to start over at the beginning for those who do so.

Also...

YOU MUST USE MOZILLA FIREFOX TO VIEW MOVIES IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN THEATER.

For some unknown reason, Internet Explorer, Safari, and Google Chrome do not work properly with the PDT.
