this feels like one of those fanmade  parody trailers. 

People would have just said the original plot was a rip-off of Hannah Montana anyway. 

They better have the Misfits, and Rio should be the only one who doesn't know Jerrica and Jem are the same person.

Oh for sure. I can see people who aren't familiar with Jem say it is a ripoff of Hannah Montana when this comes out. As a movie on it's own. It looks terrible even without the brand on it. With the brand it raised even more criticism.

Oh boy. I was expecting some crazy stuff here... like Speed Racer (the Wachowski live action one) crazy stuff. This has gone in a totally different direction that I am absolutely not interested in. Well... poop.

Will new generation kids remember this film years after its release?

on a good note, IDW comics is working on a jem reboot of their own, and it's already featuring the misfits, so not all hope is lost.

At least there's that.
