Want to talk about a blast from the blast? I just went digging through my junk drawers of my desk and found a whole bunch of things I was shocked to see. Old journals from middle school, my old bookmark, trading cards, my Xbox headset, forms from High School, old school supplies, old lists that I compiled but never completed, various booklets for items I still own and all the old military pamphlets I collected during my later High School years.
This was already coming off a memory-filled day. Today I visited the first college I attended for the first time since I graduated a few years back. It was a true shock to me because so much has changed since I was last there: staff members have left. Some that are still there aren't even recognizable from just a few years ago. There wasn't a single student walking the hallways that I recognized. Even the shops surrounding the building have renovated and are different looking.
What a day for nostalgia.
