It seems fitting that while we celebrate 5 years of the site, our sixth year would see the first significant jump in visitors. For reasons I can’t explain, we are up 25% from this time last year (we had pretty much plateaued 3 years ago, staying about the same since then). Unfortunately I had a rough day. My grandfather's health has taken yet another turn for the worse. He was rushed to the ER the other night with what they thought was pneumonia. Turns out it's far worse, as they diagnosed him with cirrhosis of the liver. He also has bronchitis and some kind of lump on his lung (though they don't think it's a tumor).

So AC broke, I'm in Texas, and it'll be near 100 this week and low hundreds Friday and next week.
