No kidding. I had to get not one, but TWO shots... one in each butt cheek. It was great, really. I was fine with the first one, but apparently that second one was just too much for my delicate subconscious because I got dizzy and had to lay down for a few minutes.

I've never had shingles, but I have heard they are very painful sometimes. Hope she gets well soon, Ben.

my mom's been doing a little better, but just a little. she's been taking painkillers prescribed by her doctor, but the side effect is that it makes her drowsy and she takes a nap three to four hours during an afternoon after taking a dose. she usually wakes up with a little bit of pain though because laying down puts pressure on where she hurts. she said she might start taking the medicine at night.

a couple of days ago i ordered a drawing tablet off of ebay and it's the same model that i have, i had to get a replacement due to the usb wire getting worn. whenever i would be done with the tablet i would wrap the wire around it and that's what caused it to get damaged like that. i wish the wire was at least detachable on the tablet's end, but when my replacement comes in i guess i'll have to leave the wire straight out. the price of it took me by surprise though, usually these go for around $80.

What no Wacom, Ben? :

nah, can't afford anything as pricey as that. i have plenty of experience with this tablet anyway, so i'm looking forward to making article title cards with it

Led a field trip to Albuquerque this weekend! Not gonna lie, I was pretty stressed out with the planning beforehand. Luckily, everyone had fun and made it home safe!
