Last Wednesday, a tornado impacted my town, leaving thousands with damaged homes, broken trees on their front lawns, and without power. The citizens' year is already getting off to a rocky start.

We were one of the fortunate ones. We lost power for a little while, but that was it.

Still unpacking and setting up. Helped my step dad make a shelf.

Hope your community recovers quickly, Mr. Magic. We've never had to deal with anything as devastating(thankfully), but we have had a series of break-ins in my neighborhood recently. People a few houses over had their car windows smashed (!)

Have a good week, friends, as we enter into week 1 of Trump's presidency. For those who hate him, four yours will go by quickly. You'll see.

Still getting settled, but I now have a temporary setup for my writing. Managed to get some in. 

Felt sick this afternoon but I think I'm on the mend. Just chillin' at home with my two youngest while my wife and the oldest two are at church this evening.
