Honestly I can't see anyone tuning in to watch a series spin-off. Without Roseanne it's just not the same. So ABC should just not bother with it and move on.

Well, this spin-off is happening folks. I foresee this being a huge flop, but it's nice to see that the other cast and crew members will continue having jobs.
I won't be tuning in though. You love this signature.

It doesn't have a chance.

Trying to capitalize on "Roseanne" without having to deal with the real Roseanne. Plus, I just can't imagine a scenario in which this show won't feel like it's missing something. Hmm, I did definitely always enjoy Darlene and Dan as characters in their own right. I will check it out. I don't have high expectations based on what I saw before... but who knows. With Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men, I can guarantee it won't be the most terrible worthless sitcom on the air today.
The whole thing about the jobs of the writers actors and crew is weird to me. It's just like construction. Employment in certain industries is, by definition, nearly always temporary or contractual, not permanent. |

They were going to try to oust Roseanne back in season three anyway. So they finallty got their wish. The show was always great in spite of Roseanne, anyway. I'll see where this heads.

yeah what she said was stupid but plenty of people have said far more offensive things and still have a there show and they didn't have half the ratings she had everyone knows the reason she has been taken off the show was because she did not bash trump where you could say literally anything on tv and as long as you make a trump joke after it you are fine don't get me wrong i am not the biggest trump supporter i don't like him but he has done some good and you would have to be blind not to see how cnn and other mainstream news hangs on to every thing he has done wrong and out right makes alot of it up like when he was trying to kill the Chinese presidents fish or had the nerve to eat at a Mexican restaurant. it gets silly at a certain point

Over the weekend I was able to hear a re-broadcast of Hannity's interview with her. Having listened to her explanation I was able understand her point of view and see how, in her eyes, the comment was not meant to be racist in any way.
Valerie Jarrett looks like a Caucasian person. You wouldn't look at her and suspect she had any black or middle-eastern heritage. Valerie Jarrett spent a great amount of time living in Iran, and was likely influenced by that. Roseanne claims the comment was political, and not racial. Think about it... Planet of the Apes depicted a society that was very much like a dictatorship, or at least an oligarchy. Not to mention a society that was not accepting of outsiders or alternate opinions. The Muslim Brotherhood is basically the same. If they had their way, every country would live under Sharia Law. Beyond that, Roseanne has Asians, Hispanics, and Blacks within her trust circle, and even in her extended family. You can't really be a racist AND have that. So my opinion of Roseanne's comment has "evolved". You love this signature.
