retrojunk used to have a chat room option, but you had to be on whenever anyone else decided to be on. if rd gets one then there should at least be an announcement/schedule time for everyone to meet up

I don't care for live chat rooms, but if it will attract people, go for it. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

I doubt a chat room would be successful. These days any chat room I see consists of a bunch of people saying "hi" and...well, that's about it.
What made chat rooms cool in the mid 90s? I think it was the fact that there were thousands of people on at any given time. Which meant rooms with dedicated topics, a/s/l, private rooms, and flame wars. I don't see hundreds or thousands on Retro-Daze this year and I don't think chat rooms would bring in new people. |

I think Vapor man has a brilliant idea with the getting paid to contribute angle. It should be emphasized more on the site to attract people.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure if Caps cashed out his points I would have to take out a loan.
You love this signature.

haha true that! When RJ still had the contributors list, his score was quadruple that of the 2nd place person. Has Caps been on recently?

Caps? Try MissM. You'd have to sell your house probably to pay her off XD
