With all the stinkers he's made, like the Avatar: Last Airbender movie, is this a good move?

I love Tales from the Crypt, but I'm not so sure about this. I'm already down on the project for not being on HBO where they could get away with the gore and nudity, but then you let M. Night take over? I'm sure I'll check it out, but I'll have absolutely no expectations going into this.

I've never liked M. Night Shyamalan. I think he's arguably one of the worst directors in Hollywood right now. That being said, Doug Walker of the Nostalgia Critic actually made a good argument for how this could turn out to be a good thing overall.

I've got to say, I'm curious. While M. Night has had some bad films, he's also made some good ones. I'll reserve judgement on this until I catch a few episodes. All I know is that the Crypt Keeper better be in it.

Say what you want, but given that just about every episode of TFTC had some sort of twist, M. Night's habit of twists might actually benefit him for once.

Some disappointing news:

-There will be no Cryptkeeper because HBO owns the rights to that character
-It will not be individual stories, but instead one season long story

Rats! So much for the hopes of a John Kassir comeback.

M. Night Shyamalan is a crazy director. I just don't know about him being associated with Tales from the Crypt. I guess its wait and watch what its going to be like.
