Can't speak for Carmen SanDiego, but it must not have been too bad to make your list. I can remember being at my grandmother's house playing the NES with my cousin who was living there at the time. Using the extra life code and the both of us blasting our way through the baddies. Good times, those. I'm surprised Contra didn't resonate through the decades in the same way that games like Metal Gear did. | 2408 | Article | Vaporman87 | Ring King, Castlevania 2, Excitebike, and even Defender of the Crown... I owned all of these titles at one time, and all were great. I had all but forgotten the fun of Ring King. It was a different game altogether than Punch Out, and that made it a new and fun experience. It was nice to read about how Tetris brought you and your father together enjoying the same thing. That can make even a boring game much more meaningful and memorable, yet Tetris was a top tier title. I was never able to get my dad to try games either. It was the only news that mattered to me from the letters page to the Mort of the Month, I loved every page. I totally had the X-Men and Spider-Man: Arcade's Revenge game for the SNES and it ended my love of the system. I have several issues of Deathmate in my garage right now, after having been rejected by a used bookstore I tried to sell them to. Take THAT speculator boom! Oh and the Robin III cover was sort of a lenticular deal you made move with a tab on the front, I still have my issue #1. Pretty lame.
