3536ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 I'm not say wood isn't useful, just that it's not technically an element. I made some awesome Pinewood Derbyshire cars back in my cub scout days. @Rick Ace Rhodes You forgot the obvious conclusion to your story, "Then I bought them all and it made my life complete." I feel like Battle Beasts are timeless. Any generation can enjoy warrior animals big enough to hide in your desk at school or office cubicle.Action Figure Comics Review: Battle BeastsApr 30, 2016View
3535ArticleDirtyD79I remember Children's Palace from my childhood although I only remember being in 2 of them around Pittsburgh. They were expensive so we hardly ever shopped there. I remember when they shut down sometime in the mid 90s. One became became an American Eagle outlet store while the other became a Dodge dealership. I just thought the stores were so neat because of the whole castle theme they had. Children's Palace Was RealApr 30, 2016View
3534ArticleDirtyD79I still remember my skateboard from when I was a kid. It was a skinny yellow one. I really wanted one of the Vision Street Wear ones I saw at this one roller skating rink but that was not in the cards. Naturally being an 80s kid I never wore a helmet or pads same with riding bikes. Nobody in my neighborhood did. It's a miracle any of us made it to be adults. lolSkate or DieApr 30, 2016View
3533ArticleDirtyD79@Hoju Koolander My father's an auto body technician so I probably got the idea from watching him working on cars. I also remember we had this plastic set of toy tools and me and my bro liked to use the saw on this one old wooden table because it made some neat sounds like "oi oo oi oo" Maybe it's not so much I was RPing as my own dad as much as me and my bro were some really destructive little brats as kids lol.Bunk BedsApr 30, 2016View
3532ArticleDirtyD79I loved the General Lee when I was a kid. It's one of my favorite TV show cars. I don't think I really paid much attention to the plot of the show, I just thought it was so cool watching the car jumping over stuff and all the chases. Some guy down the street from us had one and I always liked to walk down just to look at it. I also think it's pretty cool how during Mopar Days at Carlisle, PA they have a whole row of General Lee Chargers along with a row of the 1970s Dodge Monaco and Plymouth Gran Fury cop cars like in the show. Granted I would grow up to be more of a Ford guy but I still can't forget just how much I loved that car as a kid. 5 Best TV Cars of the 80sApr 30, 2016View
3531ArticleDirtyD79I remember the McDonald's Super hero Burger. When Batman Forver first came out the burger came with like a glass featuring Batman etched on it. I had that glass although unfortunately I think it got lost or broke when we were moving. Still though I thought it was just so neat getting a burger with three patties on a hoagie bun. Also even though I've always lived in Western Pennsylvania, for some odd reason I could swear I had Superman peanut butter as a kid.Foods Long Gone: The SequelApr 30, 2016View
3530ArticleDirtyD79I've always liked rainy days. I remember this one house where we lived anytime there was a decent storm the power would go out which kind of sucked but storms have always fascinated me. While reading this article I mentally pictured Here Comes The Rain by The Cult playing.Remembering Rainy DaysApr 30, 2016View

3528ArticleRick Ace RhodesI never had these given I was born sometime after them. However, a few years ago I found one while I was in High School. Around the holidays my school would organize this gift fair where people could buy gifts for their family and find free items as well. One of the things on a table was a container with a couple of Battle Beasts figures inside. I was shocked to see that there were figures of these still around.Action Figure Comics Review: Battle BeastsApr 28, 2016View
