Webcam before you meet.

You don't know who that person is till you see them on video. It could be someone using images of their sister for all you know! The girl I was talking to  (And the one I'm still with) was too good looking for me to take for granted. I needed some verification haha

Yeah. Good idea there. Back when I was at my most active with online dating, webcams really weren't very accessible or priced in my range. Plus we didn't get decent internet speeds here in this town until around '99 or '00.

That isn't to say I followed these steps. I simply came up with them based on my experiences NOT following them.

i had more luck finding girls at school, but in that case they already had boyfriends. i may as well stay single with the term "til death do us part". sounds like a waste of time to get in a relationship if i'll just be on my own once i pass on
