Yesterday ended great. I tried hooking up my brother's trailer to my truck so I could haul the mower to my house, but instead it popped loose off the ball and put a huge, deep scratch straight up the tailgate. That's twice this has happened to me. I was not meant to haul things I think.

I'm near exhaustion.

On the 6th I worked all day getting the shop ready for opening on the 7th. I was there until 4:30 AM! Then I came home, slept for 4 hours, woke back up, and went back in to prepare for opening.

Naturally things had to be going haywire clear up to the opening. But in the end, it came together. Despite a few hiccups, we did really well. I would estimate we saw 600 to 900 people today! That is based on the fact that we had almost 300 total sales, and most of those paying were buying for their family members too. We raked in about $2700. Very, very good.

Best of all, everyone was very pleased. 5 stars all around. Makes it all feel worth it. So we came home at 1:30 AM today and now I'm crashing. I'll be back to it again tomorrow when I wake up at 9:00! I wonder what day two will have in store for us?

Awesome! Got stuff to catch up on at home today and hopefully work on my article for the contest.

Good for you Vaporman! It takes a whole lot of courage to open up a business, especially one that is apart of the food business.

Sweet.

Day two was also pretty busy, and it had it's fair share of hiccups. The internet cutting out made processing credit cards impossible for a few hours during the day. And now we have TWO machines not functioning properly. Ugh! This really needs to get easier at some point soon!
