Fingers crossed.

I did two things today I had never done before: Hand feed a stingray, and ride a camel. Two off the bucket list... yyyeeeaaahhh.

Nice! I love the stingray we have a work, she's too excitable to hand feed though. 

It's still hot here. Over 100 degrees. It's hard to get into the Halloween/fall season with temps like this.

The rising temps around here are still a joke.

Yeah, that would be discouraging pikachulover.

It's only 41 here and plummeting. I could go for just a touch more heat.

this afternoon i finally got around to buying some halloween candy to get ready for the 31st. i have an old grim reaper costume from a couple of years ago that's somewhere in my closet, but i'll look for it later. i'm a bit tight on money to get a new costume, so that one'll have to do for this year.

Actually, it felt good to get away from the Internet for a while.

Reminds me of how recently my new iPhone decided to not charge anymore and I had to wait a few weeks for a new one to ship to me. A few weeks with no smart phone was at first an annoyance, and then a bit liberating. It was nice to know I can indeed live normally without technology constantly at my fingertips.
