I did indeed. It was something I considered offering in the Points Store, though I haven't checked it out myself yet.

That book is amazing. I believe it is based off the book that was released in limited numbers at a SDCC a few years ago and is now getting a wide release. I am freaking out. So ready for this book.

It was He-Man and the MOTU related art that got me into illustration. I would start by tracing lines out of He-Man coloring books, then add my own touches. As time went by, I found I could replicate those lines without tracing. That was the beginning of my foray into illustration. So I can really appreciate the art presented in this book in a special way.

Oh wow Vaporman, I did not know that. Do you have any of those illustrations you could show us? I would be so thrilled to see that. The art of He-Man and She-Ra was always so fascinating to me. It was really my first exposure to fantasy and a touch of sci-fi. The cartoon was great of course, but the art on the toy cards and the mini comics was just so cool to me.

I'm so glad they are releasing this book, when it was originally only at SDCC I was like, "Crud, I'll never get my hands on that." I am just glad they are releasing it. It looks like there will even be some She-Ra in there, though I think I will be holding my breath for a Princes of Power art book. lol

I have some of my art, both new and old, posted at my deviantart page. It includes the 3 published episodes of Eternian Daze as it looked in the Rise of the Snakemen MOTU comics, and the 4th unpublished episode. And then some generic fan art and stuff like that.

I've been checking out your Deviantart page Vaporman! That is so cool! You have some great stuff. Eternian Daze is pretty funny. I had read some of the MOTU comic series but not the Rise of the Snakemen part, now I am curious if my comic store has any back issue. I feel so dumb for not knowing this about you.

How awesome is it that major retailers are once again selling He-Man and She-Ra costumes? I think it's pretty awesome.

That sword is pretty stupid looking though. I wonder why they didn't show him holding one that looked more like the Power Sword. They're out there.

The sword is way cooler than the stupid little lord fauntleroy page boy wig. That haircut, Prince Adam, and Cringer were the only things I never liked about Masters of the Universe.
