Mr Magic
During the marching band performance? Yep. Hope she's alright.

Some interesting facts about the putting on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

And, to wet your appetite, the full parade from 1988:

A rival high school to the one I went to is playing the parade again this year. They played in 2008, and the name of the city that the school is in was mispronounced.

Going to be using this live feed from New York to stream the parade this year. It's a lot clearer and cleaner than the site I used last year, and the video resolution is better. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I liked the Kool Aid float and the return of the 90s Red Ranger float.

I like having the parade on in the background as we lounge around.

One of my favorite Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade was when it got RickRolled. Thanks to Rick Astley with his hit song "Never Gonna Give You Up".

I liked that one as well. It was nice to see Rick had a sense of humor about the whole thing.

Well, as you may know I am a cord cutter and haven't had cable or satellite in years. And since I live in the middle of nowhere, many miles from a local TV station, I can't get a signal with an antenna either.

Each year has been a struggle to find a place I can stream the parade from online. They've all been pretty awful experiences... crappy sites with tons of pop ups and really poor image and sound quality. But this year I have a feeling things will be different thanks to USTVNow!

I signed up for the free plan and you can stream the channels right from their site! And it's all in HD quality!

You get 7 channels with the free plan, which covers all the networks... NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, etc. It's amazing! FINALLY!!! A solution to my parade watching issues!
