Cool. We usually had a carnival at our grade school during October. There were games, door prizes, and a haunted house set up.

There's just no need for McDonald's to extend their merchandising of Happy Meals to the McBoo Pails. It destroys the "Halloween" feel of the gimmick. I for one, will not be rushing my kids to McD's for this year's offering, as in years past.

I kinda like both buckets. I like Angry Birds and Monster High.

i'm gonna miss their glow in the dark ghost and pumpkin designed buckets. at least i think they were glow in the dark. ah well

It occurred to me that there should be a market for containers of the Monster Cereal marshmallows. Especially if you have kids who pick through the box and eat only those.

Too bad the McD's commercials are so much less child-oriented these days. They were entertaining.

I think I have my old pail from when I was a kid back home. The new pails look so commercial then classic Mcdonald's Halloween.

Exactly. I don't begrudge merchandising, but not at the expense of something that has previously been successful without it, and that people have come to get used to being without it. Oh well. Not a big deal, just slightly annoying.

It is annoying especially looking back at the old pails.

They don't care about the traditional look, as long as they can promote Monster High.
