One thing I'd like to point out is that those of you who watched the series on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, don't expect the DVDs of the 50s and 60s episodes to use the same soundtrack. The later airings when the show was under Gumby Adventures were completely redubbed supposedly due to copyright reasons. The recent remasters of the classic episodes use the original soundtracks.

Personally, I like the original soundtracks better. I had a VHS release of the show as a kid that contained the original audio. I remember seeing them show up in Nickelodeon airings, and I ended up not liking them even as a kid.

Another thing to bring up is that this compilation of the 60s episodes has been released as Volume 1. But I don't see any reason why Volume 2 shouldn't be released.

Volume 1 comes with a bendable Pokey figure for the junior fan. This set has something for everyone!

About 13 bucks at Wal-Mart. Not really expensive anywhere you look.
