We all used to believe in Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny, but did anyone believe in Cupid before? Did anyone believe there was some little guy with wings, flying around and making people automatically fall in love, using his magical arrows?

Last night's episode of the walking dead was really great. Lots of crazy/cool things happened. Like i said the other day on here, i am actually looking forward to the grammys tonight(i never care for or watch any awards shows really). But there are a bunch of things that i really want to see. Lemmy tribute, ariana grande singing(i hope she announces when her new album comes out soon), eagles reunion in tribute to glenn frey, i hope ghost wins for best metal performance with their song cirice, i hope that kacey musgraves' album pageant material wins best country album.. And i still think it's a shame that ghost's album meliora wasn't nominated for album of the year or at least best rock album. |

I hate awards ceremonies in entertainment. Though the Grammys bother me less than the Oscars. At least Grammy winners have some real talent. Actors... all they can do is pretend good. Whoopie.

I don't know why, but I usually stick around for the Academy Awards every year. Hopefully, a worthy film will win Best Picture this year. Something the general public likes, not just what the actor voters like.

I disagree about that big time. It's not easy to act believable or at least good in a movie and if you do a great job then should be respected for it. It takes a lot of skill to do something like one flew over the cuckoo's nest and calling it only pretending good is just kind of dumb. Just because it's not hard labor out in the fields or in the hot sun or a coal mine doesn't mean that it should be looked down upon as nothing special. I think that movies/music/entertainment is very important because the world would be so boring without it.
I know at the end of the day and in the grand scheme of things or whatever that this stuff isn't the most important thing in the universe and doesn't matter that much to most people but to me, i don't know i just like it a lot. It's just disappointing when people act like it's just some stupid tumbleweed passing by or something. |

I don't believe that being a great actor is something that just anyone can do. I realize it takes training and that certain "something". But I don't consider acting a "talent". And I certainly don't consider it something that requires a spectacle like the Oscars to celebrate it. To me, it screams, "Look at us!!! Look how great we are!!! Because we can act!!!" But hey, to each his own.
If they ever air something as grand as the Oscars in celebration of the men and women who have served and are serving in our military, or for the police and firefighters who protect us, then I may tune in for that. You love this signature.

Ghost won best metal performance. It's just a shame that it wasn't on the actual show and they won't be on it. It's a great song.
