I think the problem for me regarding Toy Story 4 is that it didn't really serve a purpose like the other three did. The Toy Story films have always been about the relationship between toys and their children, and have explored how not being played can badly effect a toys psyche.

The three films were always about exploring different aspects of neglect: the first one was about popularity among toys. The second touched a little bit on natural decay, and made the characters realize that there will eventually come a day where their children will abandon them. The third was about that day ultimately coming, teaching us about letting go and learning to begin the cycle again with a new child.

Toy Story 4 didn't explore any of that. It didn't even explore anything to begin with. It kind of just loosely touched on neglect by children without actually going into it.

Yeah, could have done without 4. It wasn't a bad film at all, but it felt like a sequel that should have come before or immediately after 2. 

Well, whether or not Toy Story 4 was needed, it's still an impressive sequel.

well speaking of movies, i'm already hearing that those who got to see an early screening of the sonic movie said it's a flawed but good movie. not great, just good and obviously jim carrey was the best part of it. what a shocker. sounds like detective pikachu all over again with mainly just kids enjoying it.

I saw TS1 in the theater. Man, it was such a big deal at the time, the first ever fully computer animated feature. I don't think I saw 2.

So I had my first cheat day since going back on my diet three weeks ago. All I had today to eat was a single slice of pizza and two pepporani rolls on the side.

My stomach literally feels like it's going to explode and take out everything in sight.

I expected as such, loved Detective Pikachu, so chances are, I'll like Sonic, also, we got 90s Jim Carrey back and I'm happy as can be.

I loved Detective Pikachu as well. And I have a positive feeling about the new Sonic flick.
