It's so weird, but I remember exactly where I was the day when SpongeBob first aired.

We were at my grandparents house (as we usually were at on the weekends). I was waiting for Spongebob to come on because Nickelodeon had been advertising it heavily. The show hadn't even premiered yet and they were already hyping it up to be the next big Nicktoon.

Suddenly, right as the show was about to premiere, poor weather caused my grandparents power to go out. I got super pissed off about it and threw a temper tantrum before getting punished for the way I acted.
