thing is, i was hoping to get my payments by this month so i could afford some gifts for my parents and two siblings. i'm pretty much gonna have to deal with an empty space under the tree.

yeah, just gotta scrounge up what we can for a while. i'm hoping my stepdad gets his disability insurance at least by the middle of january. if not, he'll have to work while dealing with his back. it's fine now, but he could end up getting back pains before the whole month is over. i went into the social security offices back in october and was hoping to get the insurance at least a month after, because the guy i was talking to said they had all the necessary info and paperwork like a week after i went in but they kept delaying my case :/ i was still kinda making good money with my stepdad cutting yards at the time so i was hoping i'd get a nintendo switch, so i've been having a copy of super mario odyssey gathering dust on my shelf since then.

I just looked at the TV listings and it says they're showing the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie on Nickelodeon. The thing is, it's actually the 2014 film.
This has been happening a lot, everytime the title of the 90s film shows up on the listings. "Magic can happen to you."
