I shopped till I mostly dropped on Friday, it was an interesting day. Buses was extremely late going to the mall, bus was late to get back in town, bus tried to thread the needle between a trailer and a lamp post (guess who won) on top of prepping to do the baking this year in time to send miss hoodie a package of other surprises. 

Last night, when we were coming home from church, a once-closed burger joint called The Rocket has re-opened.

i usually don't start digging out the christmas stuff until the first few days of the month, but i've already gotten most of the decorations out, all that's left is putting the tree up and its ornaments (however many i can fit until i run out of space, i have two whole boxes full).

looks like i won't be having much of a christmas this year, i finally got approved for social security insurance but i have to wait until february for my payment. since we're getting some rain and snow my stepdad's lawn business will be slow, especially since only a few of his customers need their yard cleaned of leaves. i'm supposed to be getting backpayments for the ssi since i was eligible back in 2015 but never got any phone calls or mail about getting confirmed.

Well, Christmas is a time for miracles.
