The saga of Shia really bums me out. I thought he was  really likeable in the first one. He was great in Even Stevens (which I used to watch with my, now, sister in law). And it was fun seeing him as a really little kid in Freaks and Geeks. I tried to support him for so long..but he clearly went nuts. I still hold out some hope.

I watched a Blu Ray of

I'm sure there's still a sad, bitter capcom fanatic or two out there that despises this movie for desecrating the deep, sophisticated lore of the Street Fighter games and not making Bison's hat the right shade of red (or something equally petty and stupid), but who cares? This movie is
fun.
Raul Julia hams it up so much this film should be declared Haram. There's humor of the intentional and unintentional variety. Kylie Minogue shows off her legs. JCVD does what he does best. Did I mention Kylie Minogue?

People often complain that it was too silly, or that they "dumbed it down" for the kids... Give me a break, it's a movie based off a fighting game...it's not like it's Legend of Zelda.

That being said, the anime film, which is apparently more "faithful" to the games and is more widely accepted by the fans, is good too. But that's no excuse to hate this version.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

I agree with you. It is what it is, and if you're honest you understand that the game was not some deep, thoughtful experience. I think that Guile should have been cast differently though. Van Damme really seemed out of place. In the game you get the impression that Guile was an American soldier type with the crazy blonde flat top and such. Van Damme doesn't fit that character at all. RIP Raul. I'll always love you for Overdrawn At The Memory Bank.

Really? That was one of my least favorite films in the franchise, mainly because Jason is not the killer. Just a copycat regular guy. Now, the next in the series was one of my favorites. I liked the story and the interaction between the two protagonists.

How can you a Friday the 13th without Jason? It's absurd!

Beyond Evil (1980)

5/10 A few good moments but mostly boring.

Mr Magic
Princess Mononoke

It's kind of talky, but it gets better. The animation is clear for a 1997 movie and there's some good action.

I give it...
