Dope (2015) 7/10 Good coming of age hood comedy about nerdy kids obsessed with 90's rap culture that end up selling drugs. I wanted to see this for a while and i was happy that it was put on netflix. I was a little disappointed by it though with it turning into a drug movie but i guess i should have expected it because of the name of the movie. And the message of the movie was kind of weird and didn't make sense. Quote Disable Sigs

The Patriot Roland Emmerich goes from Independence Day to the war for independence in this one. Mel Gibson is great as usual. Though this movie is fictional, the battle scenes are still spectacular. As soon as I was able to suppress my Johnny Depp regurgitation reflex, I started to thoroughly enjoy this one. The iconic American small town was a treat to see and the everyday mundaneness (Had to make that one up) of it all was fun to see. 4/5 Quote Disable Sigs
